Both short-term and long-term, paid and unpaid (university credit) internships are available. For long-term internships, you must be able to commit to at least 10 hours a week.

Intern: David

Born in Boston, Massachusetts and having grown up in Tokyo, David was introduced to the internship opportunity at Lumina through a classmate at university. After hearing about the work Lumina Learning does with psychometric analysis and HR development as well as the friendly work environment, he decided this was an opportunity not to be missed. David is passionate about photography and has been interning at the Tokyo office for more than 1 year now.

Intern: Cheyenne

Cheyenne was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and interned at Lumina Learning for 8 months during her time studying abroad at Tsuda College in order to gain real world experience to supplement her academic studies. During her internship, her main role was to act as the local coordinator for the WIN Conference. Cheyenne is passionate about helping create global learning opportunities for minority youth in the US, reading, travelling and playing the cello.

Intern: Spencer

Spencer was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and is passionate about jiu-jitsu and travel. As a business and psychology major, he was interested in psychometric tools in a business setting and Lumina Learning was the ideal place to explore these interests further as part of his study abroad in Japan. Spencer spent 3 months interning at Lumina Learning as part of his study abroad program.
